The challenge
A tenth anniversary is a race's biggest moment. With nearly 30,000 entrants across multiple sites at once, we had to tell "one race" as "a town's ten years" — while keeping hosts, course and stage flawless at the same time.
Our approach
The storyline was "Chongli's ten-year transformation": from one person's expedition to a town the world now sees. Sound and light linked three highlights — the opening, the night start and the finale — and data told the decade.
